CERESETO

Cereseto, an ancient community nestled snuggly under its large castle, is located within the hillside terrain between Asti and Casale Monferrato, surrounded by vineyards and cherry forests. It is one of the most beautiful areas within the entire Monferrato Region. Everywhere you can see, the Cereseto hills pervade a sense of warm spirituality, peace and wellbeing. This land enjoys four distinct seasons, one more beautiful than the other. When winter comes the hills fall asleep, often under the soft white covers of purely fallen snow, only to awaken in Springtime to a triumph of colours and rich perfumes.

The area of Cereseto and its vicinity, is a land blessed with rich natural beauty, famous for its wine, renowned white truffles, rice, roses, fine dining in the regional cuisine of Piedmont, its medieval and baroque castles, antiques fairs, the Palio of Asti and many other highly important cultural events. The Monferrato region was chosen as an important cultural heritage site by UNESCO.
